Jeong Hee Kim

Jeong Hee Kim is a PhD candidate at the Department of Media and Communications at the London School of Economics. His research interests are in new media of mobile phone and the Internet, and the cultural use of them. His PhD project investigates the use of blogs, socio-political interaction and social control in South Korea. His research also focuses on theoretical and methodological issues of de-westernising the public sphere and the role of silence in shaping deliberative processes.
